Weekly Record Performance Statistics Cumulative COSMIC Cumulative WWTC

The trades recorded in the reports within the links below were all forecast by The COSMIC Speculator over the period covered and are accurate to the best of our knowledge; however, some were not filled as [entered and exited] precisely in our trading account as they are reported in the published trading record but we tried.

On September 20, 2009, the recorded transactions of COSMIC Speculator for the period July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009 were verified by our company accountant and displayed on this website. Please bare in mind that only the first 12 months of operations have been verified; however, not yet offered an opinion by a CPA. Plans are underway to engage a CPA to offer an opinion on the verified transactions in the near future.

We are traders who do attempt a fill on all trades forecast in which entries are recorded; however, even though The COSMIC Speculator alerted many triggered entries and ordered exits at certain adjusted stop points, some trades displayed within these reports are partially hypothetical. But the majority [approximately 80%] of COSMIC alerted trades were entered a as forecast.

With Matt as the Captain and Richard the quartermaster, plans to trade all COSMIC alerts. He's entered about 80% of the trades recorded. Well why? When we first started trading back in 3rd quarter 2008, he missed some entries because of unfamiliarity with software, asleep at the wheel, or whatever; however, if he were just a little more savvy, he would have entered 95 to 99%. He's doing much better in 2009. Atta boy! And, the trades he did enter may have been entered into in any of three accounts managed him or on LoD at his brokerage.

Be aware that Richard entered trades within the accounts where COSMIC forecast trades were being entered. The verification completed a review of all Richard's trades AS WELL AS ALL trades alerted by The Speculator. She identified some errors and duplicate entries causing our prior record to be over stated by a marginal percentage... causing us to decrease our performance claim down from 108,383 to 93,654 = $ 14,729 [14.24%], embarrassing but not corrupt.

Weekly Cumulative
This Weekly Performance Report portrays ALL forecast trades [and has not yet been verified but comparing the totals reflected at the top by those at the top of the verified cumulative will give you a hint] by week. Each line item represents one contract in commodity described. Viewers visualize direction of each trade, commodity contract traded, entry price, exit price, point gain and dollar gain based on contract specified, point value times number of points gained or [lost]. This report contains every trade forecast setup whether [triggered] executed or not. Approximately a third of our setups don't trigger. This is because we place setups so far above or below prior resistance or support, that sometimes the market never trades to price of entry suggested. When this occurs, we miss a chance. However, this method prevents us from entering a lot of low probability trades, which could likely result in far more losers than we presently endure. The weekly has been partially verified; however, the verification will be completed soon.

This report has been verified for accuracy of reported information by our accountant; however, we are researching a few entries that may appear to be duplicate; however may not be duplicate. The research to confirm or deny the duplicates will be done soon. Each line item represents one contract traded in the commodity described. Viewers see direction of each trade, contract traded, entry price, exit price, point gain, dollar gain and cumulated percentage gain based on each contract specified, as well as point value times the number of points gained or lost to calculate gain [loss].
